About Dr. Centeno

Dr. Centeno graduated summa cum laude from New York University and was a Rhodes Scholarship National Finalist. She went on to receive her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University – Brooklyn Campus. She received extensive training at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where she completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology. Dr. Centeno is Intensively Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) by Behavioral Tech and completed Level 1, 2, and 3 training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with Laurel Parnell, Ph.D.

Dr. Centeno is in private practice in Ridgewood, NJ. She is also the Assistant Director at The Koch Center.  She is licensed in NJ (#4070) and NY (#014860).
